Okay, so Dick's should be possessive but it would have lost it's affect in the post title. This is the seasonal tag line for Dick's Sporting Goods. Now, their website says "at Dick's" but my husband and I both heard the TV ad today that said "with Dick's". I would say I probably agree with the latter as heard on TV. LOL. See top left-hand corner--says 'at': http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/home/index.jsp

LOL, Miss J. It certainly got my husband's attention and mine today when the TV announcer said "starts with Dick's". I keep forgetting to put on my patch so not sure it's helping much with my thoughts, LOL.

Wouldn't be surprised if the TV voice-over guy is getting a chuckle out of his own word-smithing: "WITH Dick's" After all, when spoken, who sees the possessive apostrophe? And it certainly strikes me as more fitting for the holidays, as the dicks and dickettes are buzzing around my town driving like ... well, you guessed it: real NUTS.
