And I don't mean NASCAR...you will need to like more indie country or blues to enjoy this music. This guy is my latest musical crush (thanks to the fact he's my husband's latest too). It does not hurt that he sounds so much like my DH. Lots of clever lyrics and really good musician. This guy has not let the music machine of Nashville or LA swallow him up. Consequently, he mostly plays small clubs and venues and is rarely home since gigs are how can support his family. Yes, I liked that first one the best, but the others were funny. That one about the guys's wife was funny but sad..made you feel sorry for the poor thing...lol. I just spent the last half hour listening to quite a few of his songs, actually. His looks don't hurt him, that's for sure...really CUTE guy...great face and bod. She has all the makings of a star, and so does he. I can see why you like him. He's rough, but still talented. I will be watching for him to come this way.

Welcome. Glad you guys can appreciate his music. We are going to see him tomorrow night at a local venue. He'll be back this way to Athens (lots and lots of great indie music out of Athens, GA) in late Sept. Think we might try to see that one too. And yes, he's super cute..he's past 45 and looks fantastic! This totally blows Y's theory that balding cannot be sexy. (He kind of reminds me of the Jason Statham guy). This guy is way past cute and sexy, even if he was not a musician. He would stop me cold in my tracks if I saw him on the street. He just exudes that 'something' that makes someone sexy. It's said he's a super nice guy. I follow him on FB and he cracks me up. He writes all of his own posts. No publicists writing his stuff. He's totally real and honest. No airs with this one. This is actually my all time fave by him, although it's hard to pick a fave. My husband sounds exactly like this guy on this particular song. Yes he "exudes" alright..lol. If your husband sounds like that, then he has a great sound. You may get to know Thorn since they have same interest...but be careful..that one could be dangerous..lol. (kidding) I hadn't heard "mood ring" and really liked it. I also liked Double Wide Paradise which had a good sound and lyrics. Yes, it proves without a doubt balding men are hot, when they have that "something". Men worry too much about balding. If they are looking at the purely physical, then they should focus on what women really like, instead. But some things are just natural..and can't be made...and as they say, some got it and some don't.

WOW, that's it just WOW! Great concert, great music, great musicians. Real, real guy. Walked out and shook hands with the audience when the show was over. When is the last time you saw that happen with a fairly popular musician (his latest album is #1 on the Americana chart)? For me, never.
