Anybody tried a product with this in it, a rare, old apple species whose stem cells supposedly promote youthful skin (I know...)?

Michelle Obama, Gwyneth P. and Julianne Moore are said to be "fans" fwiw. Nobody? They sell it at Walgreens, thinking about it...

I've never heard of it, but like other celebrity-endorsed non-surgical beauty products, it probably only works if you're actually a celebrity or perhaps a First Lady.

Yeah, I know. They have a face scrub and I'm out of mine, so I may try that. Will report back miraculous results...

Years ago they had ( or maybe still have ) a product made from the foreskins of circumsised ( how DO you spell that word?) babies. Some of you may remember it. I duly bought some and it stank of ....meat, mixed with another smell to disguise the meaty smell! Ugh. It was very expensive and I don't have a clue whether it worked or not but I got sucked in to buy it.

I still like Dr Pickart's CP serum the best, alternating with Differin ointment- one month on, one month off. The copper definitely evens out the skin tone.

So you be the guinea pig this time Hope, lol and if it works I am definitely open to give it a try.

Then I should stay away from this apple, Michelle Obama, is getting uglier by the hour, never was a fan of her skin, ridiculous eyebrows & eyes, and her huge arms that she keeps showing them no matter she never dresses as a "first" lady!
AND what so special about Gwyneth P, she looks like her age if not older

Oh THAT cream!!! LOL It smelled like it came from the other end, and it did, but I put it on my face anyway. We are so crazy.

Lindahr, I think they are just using her arms to distract from the rather wide load below, if you know what I mean.

You think Obama's handsome. To me he looks like a dork. And his prominent NLFs and that mole are distracting and aging. In a word, Yuck.

Don't waste your time and money on this apple nonsense. There's nothing there that will compete in any way, shape, or form, with prescription retinoids and high PPD sunscreens. But people don't read papers, they'd rather jump on the latest hype.

There was actually a paper for TNS recovery complex--it was very unimpressive. Too bad I had to actually spend the money on a bottle before confirming that it had minimal effect. About the best thing I can say about it was that it helped to minimize retinoid dermatitis. But retinoids still ought to be the main dish, even for those who insist on trying other things. We all have hope, and all want maximum results with minimal irritation, but the most irritatating rx retinoids are what provide the most results regarding regular use topicals.

Kos:

I have been using retinoids for years and I find that the milder ones just don't cut it for me, so I do peel a bit with the harsher stuff, but nothing major. There was just something so cool about "the idea" of this transformative apple, maybe some Eve fantasy or something...I'm still going to get the scrub as I need one...silly me.

Well, if they sell it at Walgreens, then maybe it's not that pricey and you could try it just for the fun of trying something new. Besides, even if you use the script stuff like retin A, one still needs some kind of moisturizer cream.

Can hardly walk. Need hip replacement.

Hope I have been meaning to ask you. How did you get the umlaut on Spatlauber or did you copy and paste the word or do you have a German typewriter?
