I am 46 and have very few grays. Found my very first one 2 years ago the day of my father's funeral. Wish I cound say my face looks as young as my scalp, but it doesn't. My hands look pretty good though - my skin is so pale that I reflect the sun - always hated it, but am appreciating it more now.

sukinew wrote: Very 'hormonal' men seem to grey very quickly, .. What does this mean? I am nearing 40 and evrything about me looks young except for my gray hair. I have about 15% gray and it really bothers me. My wife (8 years younger than me) and daughter always tease me about this. The thing I don't understand is that my grey hair is as fine as the normal hair.

I'm 52 and white hair (Not Gray) only came in about 3 years ago and not much at that. Now my temple area is white and just a few white hairs thru out my scalp whioh you really have to look for. I take after my Father with the hair thing
My white hairs are on the course/wirey side and thick . I have thick hair but no where as thick as it use to be .
My face and hair looks like they belong on 2 different heads :(
