Not plastic surgery but I was waiting for the day that Lady GaGa would trip over her platform clunkers. That day has arrived....

OT but this is a person that I get really, really bad vibes from. I have an almost visceral reaction whenever I see a picture of her. Her videos freak me out in a Marilyn Manson kind of way. I don't see what everyone likes about her.

Are you sure she isn't just kissing the ground, she's so glad to have landed in one piece?

Those foot trappings are ABSURD! I've toppled off platform shoes way lower - felt like I was falling out of a second story window.

LOLOL Bugjune...I know what you mean, and big time hurt even in 1 1/2 inch platforms if you turn an ankle. Can't imagine those things.

It was only a matter of time, and it will happen again if she continues to actually walk around in shoes like that.

she seems like a bit of mess lately. a little drugged.

i can never see her eyes clearly and i love to see people's eyes, so she's a bit of mystery to me.

she has to be totally exhausted.

LMAO! I love Lady G but there's nothing funnier than a face plant. The best thing about this picture is the girl laughing at her in the background-hahahahahaha!

I like slapstick when its done well- most of the time its not imo. This is particularly funny because she trying so hard to look really cool and then falls on her face (almost anyway) due to the very things that were cool looking.
PS- yes the girl with the yellow bag. I like that she's the only one who is outright laughing and not even trying to hold back while everyone else looks concerned.

i actually dig her music; and i can appreciate a unique sense of style, but when an outfit looks so awkward and uncomfortable and Screams for attention (meanwhile hiding her face!) it's just laughable and a sign of an unstable mind, imho.

I really want to like her because people are constantly telling me how much she does for the gay community and what a wonderful voice she is for them . . . but I have to confess that I find her odd . . . and more than a little offputing. I don't know if it was here or somewhere else, but someone once said that they didn't like Madonna because she professed to be more important, more critically relevant, than she actually was. I don't see that with Madonna, but I do see that with GaGa. She reminds me of a simplistic, junior high interpretation of Moby Dick: all surface and no depth.

I totally agree. Madonna and Gaga are nothing alike, as far as I'm concerned. Madonna, throughout her career, has always exuded a certain optimism and certainly a depth to her. Gaga seems so....I don't know...BLEAK. She walks around like a drugged-out, soulless robot. Very Brave New World. It gives me the shivers.

totally agree! something about madonna that made you want to ROOT! for her.

at first i felt that for gaga. but soon enough that went away and i even found myself root against her

though i do think her music is incredible...i just don't want to like it if that makes sense...it's very strange

You would think she learned her lesson by now. At least this time she's got an arm to hold.

Plus the shoes look cheap to me, like they were made in a day. She needs a better fit, especially around the ankles.

Well, until she trips on her skirt/train and pulls him down on top of her, anyway! Could she try to be any more conspicuous in an airport?!?
