AnnaLynne McCord has always been athletically skinny but now it looks like her sister, Angel is following her footsteps, maybe too excessively.
Last year she was not nearly this thin.

I think they look good--their arms, legs, and faces are full enough. The reedy midsection is beautiful. They can get away with it while they are young. After 35, they might have to gain some to look "juicy."

Agree. Dammit. It's hot, young chicks like this that inspire ME to keep on crunchin' that midsection. Oh, so I've got duct tape holding my face up ... at least my abs are nice and HARD. >:-)

only youth can handle being that thin. i don't even think it looks that good on her. after 28, being that thin shows on the face.

its not natural for women to be that thin. it looks good in clothes but at what expense? brittle bones, unhealthy hair, low energy, missed periods.

i prefer a nice layer of muscle over the bone, and then a thin layer of fat, to give softness and slight curves. that's my ideal for the female body.

this flat stomach, with too bone showing looks malnourished. hair on women always shows the type of diet. hair, skin is a direct result of diet - meaning if its healthy looking.

Well I was like that naturally. I just could NOT put on weight.I was very toned as I was athletic. Now I have the opposite problem. I certainly never dieted. Now I have too many curves, lol I am still toned though. I also think you have to go with your 'body type' not fight it

You are absolutely right about this. I was extremely skinny in my early-mid 20's, and lost all my facial fat and cheeks. When on put weight back on, it never went back to my face.

I am shocked at that old pic of her sister because I thought she was just naturally that thin. Now it looks like it is a problem since she is making herself be that thin. I don't get why because she lost all her boobs.

she needs more muscle. that will start to deflate by 30 if she doesn't have sufficient muscle to support it.

I think a lot of people's face fat starts going at 28 or so even if they don't try to get thin.

I like the gal's thinness but of course my perspective is NOT being that thin.

Can hardly walk. Need hip replacement.

Me three. My mother died when I was 27. I stopped eating, dipped below 100 lbs. When I gained the weight back, the fat never did return to my face.

At 46, though, if you want a reedy midsection, you have to pay the price with your face, unless you use filler. My best friend was adamantly against my quest for dermal filler. She drove me to the doctor. She ranted about it all the way there. Said I was nuts, said I was mental, said I was just fine as is. But after I got it, she said I looked so much better.

I weighed 94 pounds when I was 18 and I had no eating disorder and ate whatever I wanted and gained no weight (those were the days and I did not appreciate them nearly enough). I only weighed 105 when I got preggers the first time at 21 and ended up weighing 102 AFTER the baby was born! Some people just have a high metabolism and have no eating disorder whatsoever. Like Sarah, I battled to put on weight until after my 3rd child but even then I only weighed 118 lbs after I lost the baby weight completely. My hip bones stuck out just like hers, sigh. I sure miss those days.

I don't think we can assume everyone who is that thin has an eating disorder or is dieting too much unless they were once pounds and pounds heavier and then turned up that thin not looking well or puny.

DCNGA has left the board and is no longer taking PMs.

Yup those are thin young beautiful bodies!! I would say this is my favorite. Not that there is anything wrong with more fat - just preference. It nice to see a little bit of bones and sharpness.

Its true also about metabolism, some people eat alot and are stick thin.

Yup. Sad but true! I remember my sister-in-law bugging, bugging, bugging me to put weight ON. I was at an ideal weight (132 for 5'8") but she just didn't get it. We can't dictate where that fat will go. I'd have had blubbery arms, slack gut, dangling dew-drop butt and STILL a gaunt face. It's just age. My dad aged the very same way. BIG and stout all over like a wrestler, but his face was slack and jowly by his 40s. Sucks.

Filler and face lift are the answer. So I will continue my fitness regimen to keep my body in shape and get the "needful" done on my face.

And now, I need to find me a new plastic surgeon. Pity the other guy blow-torched my face and destroyed my confidence. <:-9 (I stick my tongue out at him.)

I see it all the time around me with '20 somethings' people who start out with these nice healthy faces with a good layer of fat under the skin. It starts to go away .

Can hardly walk. Need hip replacement.

All in all, I think the gal is 'skinny' BUT NOT 'scary'. Like she does not look anorexic.

Can hardly walk. Need hip replacement.
