WELLLLLL...I think I know why she's not posting here. I took a peek on MMH and it has "global moderator" under her username. No way the jerk on MMH will let ANY mods post this forum. Miss J is not out to make a fortune and plaster ads all over this board like Arial is on MMH. And, we are allowed to speak our own truth and not MMHs highly moderated/censored views.

There was some drama a while back, but she had posted since then. Hope she's well and comes back to post here instead of having a mod title on MMH.

I have NO IDEA WHY he does not want mods posting here. I mean I post on MMH myself and have been since 2006. It's not as if this is 'competition' for them in terms of largeness or commercial profit. Well, I'm just guessing that's what MIGHT have happened. But, I think I recall in the email he sent me something to the effect that my posts here were what got me 'fired'. I don't know how long she's been a mod or if that is even the reason she's not posting here--just a guess. Maybe it was a self-imposed decision it after what happened to me there. Or, maybe she just does not want to post here because of us ruffians. Maybe she does not have time to post here. Not sure, I was just 'guessing' why she was absent.

I'm going to ping that Beansprout! Get to the bottom of it. Has anyone noticed how DEAD it is over at MMH?@!?*! I was just cruising through the Chem Peel board - NADA. ZIP. Lotsa queries and odd things posted with nary a single response. And in the laser section. Tick..... Tock ...... Time has stood still! I was the only one replying to my post about the MixTo fiasco, as my situation unraveled. I wonder if it's the economy?

A lot of people did not like the board format and complained a lot, I think. If she's a global admin, then they are desperate because the only global I knew about was Miki. I don't even know if she's there or not now. I noticed all of the doc board are deader than dead too, except Rivkin, Naderi, and Yang. Today was the first time I've been there, except to view your pics, in MONTHS so I'm not sure what's going on there. They were pressing their thumbs down hard on their mods. I also noticed a few months back all of the spam littering the board now too. I dunno. They did me a favor and I'm glad I'm gone.

The rhino section is pretty active.I guess because a lot of people are still getting rhinos especially revisions.

Pinged her. Got the news: she is doing fine! Her first love is the TT board at MMH, cuz the recovery is just so all-life-encompassing. She's 17 mo post TT and still has swelling issues. So that's the place to find her. She hadn't realized it'd been so long since she was posting here - so maybe she'll come by for a visit? I know that after my face lift in '04, I was on that board at MMH for two solid years before moving on. As my elected procedures change, I go to the boards with info on those particular procedures. But I like the sense of "family" here, I gotta say. Smart folks - all of you - and with so much experience to share in so many areas. I can be honest here and share all my worries and even vent about things. I haven't even told my MOM about the MixTo fiasco. Probably never will.
