Yeah, not as pretty as a prom night, but here are my shots post-MixTo laser to face, neck and chest. Please be forewarned: these are damn scary to look at. But I want folks to see what the real recovery looks like from an aggressive facial lasering. I guarantee, you will not see images like this in a MixTo brochure. Now did I have an especially awful time because of the Valtrex reaction? I dunno. But I think you can expect a fair amount of crusting over and "ugly stage" after getting a procedure done like this. Grab a cuppa coffee, and have a look-see: http://www.makemeheal.com/pictures/laser-treatments/bugjune-s-mixto-procedure-a11333PASSWORD: BugsMixTo (note case sensitivity) I will add one more shot to the album at a month out. I think I'm on the road to recovery ... but it's gonna be a pink and bright summer for me. I Bug U

First off, You are a very attractive woman. I don't remember what work you have had in the past, but it doesn't matter. You look like a natural beauty. Second. Yikes! I don't know if I could have gone through with that procedure. It looks worse than what DCGNA had done to her face. In the end it must be very well worth it because I can see beautiful baby soft glowing skin starting to appear. Yeah! My husband would have divorced me after the seeing me like that (not really, but he would be grossed out).

Agree with CG, you are a brave beautiful Bug. However, my husband would have had a heart attack before being able to make plans to divorce me. So, your husband gets thumbs up too.

Bugjune is a beauty!
It looks to me a lot more like straight CO2 than mixto. The doctor went really deep, especially around the eyes.
It's almost over. Congrats, you survived! Until the next time!

Guys you make me LAUGH! I love the comments and thanks for the early compliments. I want to go on record saying that my husband is peerless! He is not only a smart (CalTech, MIT, Stanford grad) and clever monkey, but he is a pillar of support and strength. Born in India, mom is American, dad a Sikh. I simply could not have done this (or past procedures) without him being there every step of the way. He'd stand in front of me when in public (yes, I had to go pee-pee at Fry's!) and is just a warrior bulldog of perseverance in everything he undertakes. He did all these thumbnail shots for me this morning so I could get them up at MMH. He was positive and encouraging throughout that Twilight Zone of fever and recovery - egging me ON. After the whole week was over, he collapsed and slept 14 hours. We are like Lucy and Ricky. I am the trouble maker; he resolves all. Makes for funny moments. Only in the past few days has he shared how shocking the whole thing was to him, and wondered how I ever survived the ordeal. But "testicular fortitude" best describes my very special hubby. I Bug U

Yes THANKS for sharing! The recovery DOES look really similar to CO2. Hopefully the deep level of treatment will translate to lasting results. Your skin looks great!

He sounds like a sweetheart, hero type, Bug. My husband is similar but less of a bull dog and more of a cocker spaniel.

Bug, thanks so much for sharing the good....and the bad. From having my Erbium, I was not all that freaked out by your earlier pics and am very glad that you are on the way to an excellent recovery. You are going to look FABULOUS! and I bet a *few* years younger, especially in the undereye area. We will be waiting for the updates too!!!

Wow Bugs! That is one scary and tough recovery. But you are starting to look so great now. I'm sure once you are all healed and back to normal EVERYTHING you have been through over the past couple of weeks will be worth it.

Bugs, thanks for sharing. You are a beautiful woman. I would love to have this done for pigmentation and wrinkles but the cost puts me off and the recovery time, WOW! Have you been hiding out; you know friends, neighbors, etc.? Your hubby sounds amazing. You are going to look 'mahvelous dahlink'.

Wow. Bug June, DAY #13 was your LUCKY day. How ironic is that?? I like your eyes. Did you have those done prior? Man that was some ordeal to go through. It's looking GOOD now it is. When did your husband go to MIT? Was he there between 77 and 80?
