He looks every one of his 65 or so years, but OMG can he still sing and play. Just got back from his concert. Unlike Jamie Lee Curtis, he does not espouse to looking good for his age or eschewing PS. He just is who he is. Simply, looks don't matter if you have THAT much talent.

Did The Who open for him?!?!?!

My God. I would love to have seen that act! But only if they did songs from my time-warp of the '60s!

Rock on!

Hi, Bug. Yes, Roger Daltry played with him. RD looked great and I think he's older than EC. They sounded fantastic! It was Pete Townshend's brother playing guitar for him. The other guitarist played a show with MY husband last year in Vegas--small world!

The EC show was at a 5000 seat venue, so small and perfect to really put on a good show. It was my generation stuff, but timeless too. Who Are You, who, who.... and with our Rock n Roll Hearts, a perfect concert.

That IS a small world! You better not tell us any other "degrees of separation" .... or we'll find you! ;-)

DC..so jealous. I'm a huge Eric Clapton fan. Been listening since Derek and the Dominos. Never get tired of him, ever. *sigh* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ruy3dLT5ss&feature=fvw

Hi ya, Shaz. Last time I saw EC was in the mid-90s with the Tears In Heaven Tour. That was sad, but he was a lot more communicative even back then. During this concert, he acted "over it." He says this year is his last year of the Crossroads Event, so maybe it's his last year of touring. He was very disengaged from the audience, but he sure sounded great.

Sorry guys it's taken me this long to reply. Hi Sue! DC..hey you!! I miss ALL you guys here on Miss J. Just been hibernating. A necessary thing to come out the other side somewhat sane and coherent. DC...I guess all the years and years of fame, adolation, ensuing drug use and tragedy etc would make anybody jaded. How could you top what he's already done...but yeah I'd be disappointed to see him bored with performing, no matter how technically great we know he is. *sitting here glad I'm not famous and having to shine year after years later*. It all passes after a time, doesn't it? Or maybe not. Resurrection is always there.
