Do that and you might just bump into a certain anime loving, long haired, long faced, 6'2 and a half, 155lb, secular ashkenazi jew that worships Dr. Park and lives 15 minutes from Morristown and goes there at least once a week. He's not in Jersey right now but hes going back in a few months.

Where is HE right now? In another state?

Anyway back to the subject of speed dating. My experience with speed dating further proved to me its my looks and not my personality.

Almost every girl I talked to there pretty much gave me "fuck off" signals right at the get-go...before the coversation could even start. They would just ignore me....look around...shrug...etc. Then I would observe whatthey would do with cute guys and it was a complete 180...they would be all into the conversation and fall all over the guy LOL!

Lots girls would even just skip talking with me all together!!

But yeah speed dating sucks for ugly guys. I've met soooo many ugly, fat, and or bald men who have experienced the EXACT same thing with speed dating.

post a pic to hotornot. you might be surprised.

sorry I didn't mean to offend, my agreement wasn't totally serious of what was said just how I feel somtimes haha.
Ofc there are many attractive people in the uk & diversty in alot of city areas, but I was just going by my experiance and for someone whos currently on a game design course and living in a rural area the guys I tend to come across are very white and very unattractive.
Though this is just probably down to be my personal taste, I prefer alternative style (punketc) and yes also have a weakness for asian and hispanic guys which just generally barely exist where I live /tear lol.

& btw im not even remotly asian, spanish in me yes but no asian lol.

(white guys LOVE asian girls..but (most) asian girls dont like white guys).

Tbh I think that goes both ways, Ive yet to see a goodlooking asian guy with a white female, yet I do know quite a few white girls who are absolutely drop dead gorgeous with asian guys ( chinese) but who are very far below average if they where white I'm pretty sure those girls would even give them a second glance.

I never got this personally. It just seems like such a bad idea for your self-esteem. What can be gained by this?

Sometimes a dose of reality can be a good thing.

I don't think it's reality based when this guy got an '8':

What hotornot does is it boosts all averages so nobody feels bad. I looked at a ton of random profiles and NOBODY was lower than a 6. 9 is about the average score there because of how they calculate scores.

You could get 15 1s and nothing else and your average would be like a 6.2 or something.

I never actually looked at hotornot, but I just took a quick browse of some photos. It seems that alot of people get high scores, even if they look very average or in some cases below average. I've seen some overweight looking women get 8 + points. In real life this would not happen. I think people may just give points for their friends or some do it to be funny. It's not a reliable site, and who knows if somebody is just giving themselves high points over and over.

Oh I see, that's not right. They should keep the results as-is and truthful. The ratings over at ratearod and ratearear are totally truthful- they even show you the breakdown of how many 1's, 10's, etc. that you get. Not saying that anyone should go to those sites or anything, hehe.

the way it works is that on people that are not very good looking they give them a higher score,
and on the people that look good or great they give them a lower score.

i remember doing(rating) that on some rating site(cant remember since it was so long ago),what I did
is to give a really hot guy a low score, because I assumed "hey that conceited guy obviously knows he is all that", so this low rating will be funny.

Well, earlier in this thread, Yatterman wrote:

"2) men who are too ugly to get ANY female <---- me"

So there wasn't much to lose by directing him there and maybe something to gain if he got an average or better rating.

maybe he's an 8 b/c most of the people rating him are in his age bracket and not in their teens, 20's and 30's.

hmmmm, maybe. I wouldn't think there are a lot of 60 somethings voting on hot or not, but who knows- these are topsy turvy times we're living in and nothing surprises me anymore (except SlapChop; it actually DOES work, now THAT surprised me)

Gosh Lazarelle, that made me laugh - LOL. I've lived in the US- NYC & LA (5 years), Australa (Syndney & Melbourne)3 years, have been to about every continent in the world (south america, africa etc), and I believe I have a pretty international view. Currently living in Europe (since 2002). I also work for a US -headquartered multinational - I am both a European and a US Citizen. Where on earth did you get the impression that US men 'are much nicer to women and treat them better than european men' Hehhe!!!! Where have you lived Lazarelle that you base your 'wordly' view? Hehhe!!!

I have lived most of my life in the US - except for three years in London and Athens - so all the more reason to be exposed to more American men than you and thus coming to a more accurate evaluation - you may be surprised to hear that a lot of my european friends agree with me - Also, it is my favorite question to ask European men - whether love or falling in love is an important part of their lives - and most of them say no - also I once made a blanket statement to a Belgian scientist friend of mine - "Pierre I am of the opinion that Europeans do not take love as seriously as Americans and consequently don't treat women as well as the men in the US do" He thought for a LONG TIME on that and then said Yes, you may be on to something....

BTW Denton agrees with me - (check his last reply to me)

Irish Eyes I know that there are exceptions to every rule - of course there are American men who are jerks out there - but I am a great observer of people - I consider myself a social scientist and I take a long time to make general statements -
