I liked Butch Cassidy, but the awful 60's music really dates it. It would be better with a new soundtrack.....

What was the name of the movie that started at the end and worked back? I think it flashed between the past and present, too. It's about four years old or so. That one was REALLY hard to follow.

This looks like an interesting film. Charlotte was good in The Night Porter

Memento! Yes, thank you. I saw Mulholland Drive, didn't "get it" either.

i thought it was disjointed and heavily edited. it didn't flow. even movies that mix fantasy and reality don't have to feel disjointed and heavily edited.

I think Mulholland Drive was excellent. But Blue Velvet is David Lynch's masterpiece.

Blue Velvet was less "disjointed", but still a stretch. DH loves David Lynch, so we have seen most of DLs movies, much to my dismay. I think I read someplace that Lynch even said he did not know what some of the stuff in Mulholland Drive meant. Huh? But, you know I still remember isolated scenes in that movie, so he did his job well. It was memorable and I hated the movie.

I think there is a new ICE AGE movie coming out. I liked the first one.
I like horror movies but only pre 1960s and there won't be anymore of those coming out. lOL

Can hardly walk. Need hip replacement.

I completely forgot Rosemary's Baby is another one of my favorites.

My ex-boyfriend would sometimes pop in our Rosemary's Baby DVD after settling into bed because he found it relaxing.

Ok, lets see if I can make a post without looking retarded! I will blame my last couple of DUH entries in this thread last nite to a glass (or few) of wine. Anyway, I had read a while back that someone was thinking of doing a remake of Rosemary's Baby, but gave up on the idea. Geez, what would the baby look like now???

I like any Woody Allen movie, movies featuring Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, or Meryl Streep and more recently, the movie Juno.

Totally agree with your picks. Did you happen to see Sophie's Choice? it was an older film, but mesmerizing. Juno was great, as well as "Little Miss Sunshine"
