So....I've been scrubbing and slathering. Is it working? Who knows? I do "feel" my pores look good, that is, smaller. By the way, that new Lancome lash-growing mascara Julia Roberts hawks has this apple shite in it too.

Wonder if they just sell the apple itself at Whole Foods. Those Asian apple/pear combo fruits are supposed to be good for the skin too.

I read about this apple when I was looking at 3lab skincare. Apparently there are like 5 trees left an its almost extinct but it sounds like a gimmick. Why not plant more?
This sounds like those mysterious melons in cindy crawfords skincare.

For something that's supposed to easily REGENERATE things, gotta wonder why this apple did not regenerate it's own kind and there are only 5 trees. LOL. Try rubbing a macintosh apple on your skin.

Well, it's been a while and I do like this line (eclos at Walgreens.com., $11-$21), at least the face wash/skin prep, cream and scrub. I like the herby smells, grew on me. Makes my skin tingle, seems to tighten it. I have been on a retin a (atralin) break since I started using this and my skin certainly hasn't gotten any worse. The cream would not be great for dry skin (mine is normal/combo), however. Haven't tried the serum, eye cream or face mask.

It's funny you mention the Eclos line. I was tired of spending big bucks on skincare items and I wanted to do an experiment and try a cheaper line to see if there was a difference. Mind you, I was never one to buy my skincare items at a drugstore. I noticed the Eclos line was on sale at RiteAid and purchased the serum and cleanser. I like the cleanser because it doesn't get sudsy. I have been using the serum for about a month and my skin looks just as good as it did with my over $150 brand cream. The only drawback is the serum is not moisturizing.

Yeah, I think the cleanser is my fave of the lot. The cream is not that moisturizing either, which is O.K. for me...
