I was thinking the exact same thing! Like the old hag that used to advertise on telly for a book for facial exercises- she looked terrible.

Kimberly wrote:Sarah, my fingers are crossed for you that your fat graft retains :) Thanks Kimberly. I don't have a very good history of retention but he has gone in deep under my eyes so maybe this may help.... time will tell. Not a single bruise there either. It is amazing

Sarah, NZ is great, I might visit in next winter, lol, happy healing, who did your f/g please, I want to do my upper lid, did you say you liked it Who told you that chin implant is good for wrinkly neck, lol I thought you live in AU, are you in NZ? Sarah W wrote:Chin done!Fat grafting to lower and upper eyes(upper eyes look very nice so far but early days), chin area and in front of ears. Am out the other side.7 days post.Still have some sutures in. Looks much firmer but base of neck still scraggly:( I thought this would be done under 'neck lift'.
C'mon over!! New Zealand is great.
Everybody loves new Zealand. It's only drawback is it a bit parochial but lots of people come over on a working visa and then apply for citizenship. It depends what you are wanting in life. Heavenly landscape and low population.
Auckland is just another big city. Wellington is cold and windy but full of the arts. I would not bother with Auckland at all.

Yes it is great. Nobody told me chin implant is good for wrinkly neck! I had a recessive chin. The fat grafting has brought it forward a bit. Where are you? I am in NZ. I love the upper lid fat graft. It has lifted the tail of my brows up and out.Looks heaps better....if it stays.

Less is more sometimes. You can always go back for more. Just been wathcing these botched cases in the UK and makes you realise how well most of us do.. Slowly, gently, carefully..you will get where you want to be Sarah W wrote:
Lol! Yes I have not missed a beat this time. Am very chipper. Maybe the anxiety will come later but so far, so good.My concern is that my lower neck was not dealt with so my face and lower neck don't match. Not a good look.On an earlier occasion, years ago, I had an incision in the base of my neck up into my hairline which gave me a very smooth lower neck - not this time and I am not sure why.

I had it done here in NZ. I am thinking mine may not last either but LOVE the look. I think it was Dewey who had hers augmented with fillers not fat by Val Lambros and she was thrilled too but I don't know whether hers lasted or not. Dewey, are you out there?

DCNGA, Something in a capsule called "collagen" is most likely gelatin. Still, I'd like to see the ingredient list on the capsules themselves.
Can hardly walk. Need hip replacement.

Is it cheaper in NZ? it may cost like $7000-8000 here in US as far as I know, and you will always need more :( Sarah W wrote:I had it done here in NZ. Yes f/grafting is but not other work but there are very few good surgeons who do it well- maybe about 3-4 and they are as good as any in the world. The dollar difference also helps from your end.
Edit: I just added it up. If that includes OR fees, then it is the same and the only advantage is the strong US dollar.
