This could be a coincidence of two things, but my neck rash is REMARKABLY better today! Not gone - but overnight, it is about 50% or more improved! YOWIE! I am wondering if it's due to one or both things: on Saturday night, I took my first 5mg of Cetirizine, plus I started to drink several glasses of lemon water.

I now take 5 mg of Cetirizine a.m. and p.m., and continue to drink easily 32 oz or more of lemon water during the day. It's been probably 30-odd hours since I've been doing this ... and there was not much improvement until this very morning.

Oh boy would I LOVE (love! love!) to see this rash go away. Cuz now my lips are HUGE with swelling. I guess all my MixTo healing was dormant while my body rid itself of the toxic effects of Valtrex followed by Keflex. Now, perhaps I'm going to start molting and healing. We shall see!

Yay! Hopefully you are really on the road to recovery and healing (no molting necessary)

Not to be flippant, but you could also try mixing some 'bug killer' into water; about 1 Tablespoon per glass 1X/day. What I mean by bug killer is DIATOMATEOUS EARTH (food grade) which is used in organic gardening as mechanical bug killer (it's sharp to bugs and pierces their bodies.) The stuff is said to be good for the lymph and immune system. It's basically silica (most common mineral on earth) made from billion year old algae bodies. Don't use type used for swimming pools though.

Yes, I was just reading a link yesterday from Sadie here that even Dr. Christiane Northrup says there is NO connection between calcium supplement intake and reduced risk in hip fracture!!! Y'gotta just eat healthy AND do the proper exercise for strong bones and a body chemistry that won't leach the calcium out of one's bones.

I have also completely sworn off WINE these days. First it was the antibiotic; now it's the Cetirizine antihistamine. But mainly, I find that (altho I LOVE a glass or two of red wine nightly) I get HOT, flushed, feel irritated and just restless if I have any wine of any color. It's almost like it's become toxic to me. I hope that doesn't last forever, but I DO know that I'm trimming probably 300 calories a day alone from eschewing wine.

I have also bee reading about the lemon water "cure-all": due to its alkaline ash, lemons can be juiced, sliced and dropped into water and enjoyed as a fresh, healthy alternative to almost any drink. A person could even add maple syrup or agave to sweeten the drink, but I like it unsweetened. After my extensive torso lipo last summer, I lived on PITCHERS of the stuff! Drank it morning, noon and night. I had ZERO problems recovering from that procedure - no infection, no rashes, but yes, it was a long one, due to the internal trauma of lipo.

Gotta say it, THIS line of yours should be etched on our refrigerators - LOVE IT!!!! :-)

I have never heard of that bug killer! And if it could bestir my sluggish lymph, it could be a great tonic!! Thanks for the suggestion. I bet my local WholeFoods would have it.

Oddly enough, the TOPS of my feet ache these days. Early last week, it was my inner thighs. Both are right along the lymph travel path. It could be that things are getting better and zeroing down to a smaller area (feet tops), cuz my inner thighs no longer ache.

Oh KO! I will sprout a mustache if I have ONE more thing to contend with. And come to think of it, if I did sprout one, that'd make TWO more! I jinx myself.

Not sure if they have it at Whole Foods. You get it at Organic garden supply or over the net as FOOD GRADE Diatomateous Earth. It's used for a lot of stuff; in cosmetics and for putting into animal feed and their beds and its used for human consumption in terms of people taking supplement stuff. Just DON'T buy the type they sell for swimming pools. The stuff for organic gardening is also 'food grade'. It has a lot of uses. I use it in garden as mechanical bug killer (pierces their bodies and they dessicate). I also put it on my skin and in water to drink as silca supplement.

Rev3, thanks for sharing! I will google that IV Glutathione.

The jury is out on my "condition" till I get a rheumatoid panel done on my blood in early July. My mom has psoriasis, so I'm guessing I could easily have some kind of tendency to auto-immune. RASHES pretty much sum up all my medical mysteries. I get them almost every year, for one week, 6 weeks, time varies, but always between March and end of June.

It is just maddening to try to diagnose the cause of a rash, cuz it could be: food, seasonal, animal allergy, dermatitis from clothing, chlorine from swimming, bug bite, stress, environmental, even fumes can give me a rash.

But GOOD NEWS: my neck/chest rash is 90% gone. Dunno why! But I can wear normal shirts again that cover my chest. That rash started out of the blue last Wednesday.

I'm late to get here, but fungus thrives on an acid environment and it is the cause of just about every disease, according to Doug Kaufman. He says the medical profession sees a remarkable similarity between fungus and cancer bc they both thrive on the same thing, sugar or too much acid, but they still haven't made the complete connection yet. He says to eliminate all grains if you are already sick and you will be amazed at the improvment. He's on a show called "know the cause" in the AM and says oregano oil is one of the things that help fight fungus plus his anti-fungi diet. There are a growing number of people who agree with him, and I think they are on to something, myself. It's a hard diet to stick to in my opinion since I'm a bread lover, but he says it's easy. He makes his sandwiches by wrapping them in green lettuce for example. He has a book out, but don't know the name right now.

But I have also known a few sworn "vegans" and "vegetarians" from their 20s to their 50s. IF they can add sufficient protein and have a balanced intake, they are athletic and healthy. But some have constant colds, are skinny and just never peppy, like their immune system is shot. My guess is that they do not have a balanced diet.

It also depends on which protein they eat, bc mythylcobalamin B12 isn't in anything except beef. So, when you take the B complex, which has only the ethylcobalamin, be sure to take the mythyl B12 too. I get the mythyl by Yarrow which dissolves under the tongue. I do eat beef but probably not enough bc of all the hormones etc. in it.
