This is very interesting, and not at all unexpected!

Recently, three people on another cosmetic chat room/forum have mentioned something that my "Moisturizing Eyelash Growth Serum", the E.Y.E.S. system, is doing for them other than simply causing eyelash growth. These people all have suffered from "dry eyes". However, since using the E.Y.E.S. product, they have each independently noticed that they no longer have dry eyes! Now that is interesting! I know this is not something that a cosmetic product can advertise as being used for relief. But.... if these people want to publicly talk about that, no there is no harm, no foul!

Take a moment and read these latest three comments (in the order posted) on the Never Over the Hill Moisturising eyelash growth serum thread from the other forum:

I've been using the serum for about two weeks now, no noticeable growth yet. However, I am noticing that my dry eye syndrome seems to be not as bad. Usually, I have to use eye drops all day long because my eyes get very sore and gritty. Since I've been using this serum I've only been putting in the drops morning and evening. So what I'm saying is that the serum seems to be soothing my eyes - am I delusional I wonder?

That's interesting K, I have also noticed that my severely dry eyes are much less dry in the last couple of months. I know the serum is not drying out my eyes, but I hadn't considered the fact that it might be somewhat lubricating my eyes. I had been attributing the lack of dryness to my reduced use of Retin A this winter. You may be right though! BTW, I am still seeing growth with mostly just one application a day. Mind you it is not the dramatic growth I had when I used the old version of Revitalash or Enormous Lash, but it is definitely GROWTH! I do see some lighter colored hairs...that is the only unusal side note.

I have noticed the same thing, I have used it since the 1st of January, twice a day for 2 weeks and then once a day, I also used 1000 hour lash color in blue/black and it made the lashes look so much better, but now I only use my eye drops once in the morning instead of 5 times a day.

We already know that the E.Y.E.S. system grows lashes. We also know that it contains no drug active ingredient, and therefore has no potentially harmful side effects like the Prostaglandin/Lumigan products. So, if the E.Y.E.S. system also alleviates "dry eye syndrome" at the same time..... that would make for a truly fantastic product. I am not surprised at these observations. The naturally derived moisturizing emollients that I formulated in this product could well be the reason for the dry eye relief.

I'll keep you all informed as more observations and comments come in to me.

I'm not sure what the ingredients are, but if the serum contains moisturizers and soothing ingredients like aloe, I could totally see dry eye relief being an additional benefit to the product. Awesome stuff!

I just started a new thread about my experience with Latisse and that new funny-looking wand mascara and how I got great results...

Cindy, you have beautiful blue eyes, and I'm sure you won't want to see them turn dark, or even brown! This can happen if you continue to use the Latisse product. Let me list the known side effects when using products that contain the drug "Lumigan"/Bimatoprost and prostaglandin type actives.

1) Eye color change, to a darker color which cannot be reversed
2) Red eyes, and/or redness around the eyelid area
3) Severe eye irritation on use of the product
4) Eyelash shedding and falling out
5) "spidery" eyelash growth, eyelashes that are not straight, that curl or bend in odd directions
6) Hairs growing in places on or near the eyes where hair should not grow
7) Blurred Vision
8) Drug active products REQUIRE a prescription to obtain, possess and use. This requires expensive doctor visits (more $$$) just to obtain the prescription. Ordering from "overseas" without the prescription is ILLEGAL, and the DEA can and will arrest users who have these products without a prescription.
9) Ordering a "drug" product from overseas, sight unseen, can result in products that are tampered with, not strong enough, contaminated, and/or potentially harmful to the user's health.

Now, this list is not something I made up to make my product sound better. The list of side effects is well known to the makers of the drug active, and THEY even have to include this list with every product sold, since it is a drug product.

To be quite honest, the Moisturizing Eyelash Growth Serum (E.Y.E.S. system) is a far safer and effective choice for eyelash growth enhancement.

Are there any before and after pics? I'd be interested in seeing what else is out there but I want to have the same results I've acheived with Latisse.

I also saw this on HSN but it's pricey

I doubt if you would get the same as with Latisse given that you need a script for the thing because it has bitapromost in it and that's the ingredient making for the long fast growth. But Johns product is most likely going to be competitive in price and performance as the other over the counter products you can buy for eye lash growth. Let me put it this way, you would lose more money IF the Susan lin product did not work as well as Latisse (which it probably won't) than you would with John's product if his did not work the same as Latisse.

Can hardly walk. Need hip replacement.
