Ack. I have discovered MY problem. I didn't click on the link that says "MissJ's General Store" within the MissJ's Store site.

All is good. I am dense but persistent. Thanks for giving me hope!

LOL, he is already BALD. I shall ask him.

Ah-HA! I've got a suggestion/request for your wunerful Tech Teddy! Can he also make your Amazon store link work for those of us who use Mozilla Firefox browser?

I am a Mac user, but I don't like using Safari browser on my Mac - too many snoopin' cookies and whatnot. I just surfed up to your store using Safari browser, and see exactly how it links to specific products at Amazon.com. However, there are no live links (or pictures either) for us geeks who use Firefox.

Well, I don't want to make the guy *bald* with frustration .. so if he doesn't have time to make your store links work with Mozilla, I'll just launch your website through Safari. Could you maybe ask him if it's an easy fix?

Pwitty pweeze? With ice kweem on top?

TT helped to uninstall but ran out of time and it would not re-install. CAn't explain the computer problem other than to say I'ts hard for me to access the net or my site.

That store does not seem to be working out that well because it's not a thing where if someone buys anything from there going to the link from here, where I get credit for that. Saveface had that question and TT said the answer is 'no'.

If this forum is php or accepts BBC code, you can create a new section and put affilliate links there in a more secure manner than HTTP which can be hijacked. Amazon's affillate links are not HTTPS, unfortunately. It won't be affected by browser that way also.

LOL, precisely the stuff I don't understand which is why that thing would not be there if TT did not do it.

Well, the easiest way to know for sure would be for someone to click on an item in your store, and then buy an unrelated item from Amazon. Once the customer makes the purchase, you should be able to log in to your Amazon Associates account and see a list of items that were purchased by customers who linked to Amazon from your web store. For privacy reasons, you can see only the specific items bought, not the customers who bought them.

If you click this link and scroll down a bit, you can read one blogger's commentary on how he gets a commission on anything purchased from Amazon after a click-thru from his blog.

Finally, see Section 7 of the Amazon Associates operating agreement, a portion of which I'm pasting below:
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/agreement

7. Advertising Fees

We will pay you advertising fees on Qualifying Purchases in accordance with Section 8 and the Associates Program Advertising Fee Schedule. Subject to the exclusions set forth below, a “Qualifying Purchase” occurs when (a) a customer clicks through a Special Link on your site to the Amazon Site; (b) during a single Session that customer either (i) adds a Product to his or her shopping cart and places the order for that Product no later than 89 days following the customer’s initial click-through, (ii) purchases a Product via our 1-Click feature, or (iii) streams or downloads a Product from the Amazon Site if the Product is a Digital Product; and (c) the Product is shipped to or streamed or downloaded by, and paid for by, the customer.

I buy from Amazon a lot. One of the creams I like a lot is Perfective Ceuticals Divine Age Guardian Cream with Growth Factors. I don't know if your looking for suggestions but I do buy it often, it's a great cream. Let us know if we can help by going through your store to make other purchases.

A couple of notes on Miss J's Store:
- Credit to Miss J.: I believe that you can go to the "General Store" page and search for any Health and Beauty products on Amazon, which will be credited as Miss J.'s sales if you buy them there.
- Different Browsers: Unfortunately, Miss J.'s Store is built with code from Amazon that apparently does not work with Firefox on Mac. It works file with Firefox on PC (that's the browser I use). Is there any chance that a later version of Firefox for Mac exists which supports the Amazon code?

I have firefox 8.0.1 on Mac, and it seems to work. Unfortunately shipping costs made it outrageously expensive, but I tried Miss J! If I do order anything, I will do it through this link. Amazon was happy to add non beauty items to my basket so hopefully that means anything we order goes through your account.

That would be nice if it did but still not sure all ordered goes through my account.

Orders in the "General Store" section will credit Miss J -- and the "General Store" section should let you buy any Amazon item in these categories: Hair Care, Body Care, Skin Care, Beauty, Books, Apparel & Accessories, Health & Personal Care, Grocery & Gourmet Food. (Of course, orders in the "Miss J's Selections" section will credit Miss J too.) I'll be interested to hear any further suggestions or comments about the store.

Hey thanks Tech Teddy. I'm hoping that in a few months with this store, I will be able to buy a $3 train ticket into Boston to consult with doctor about my hip or am I setting my hopes too high???
