Did it yesterday. Just very red no bruising , told dr to do a low setting. I did this procedure a year ago helped with acne break outs, keeping my fingers crossed I hate being 36with teenage acne :(. My new years wishes are a smaller forehead, less hollowed eyes, possible rounder nose, weight loss, which since working out with intense cardio and weight watchers have GAINED 5 LBS and got a face full of acne. So hence the v beam with Levulan. Feel like this is an yup hill battle. Dr told me it was ok to go in sun after Levulan , didn't listen I took off from work and stayed indoors today. How long out of light with Levulan ?

your doc told you it was OK to go in sun???? No! You need to stay covered/out of the sun for 48 hours. don't sit near windows.

this is the time of year to do it - shorter days. only go out after dark.

I'm not surprised the doc said this. Most of are fairly idiots. (Sorry).

I did not listen Im at home now didnt go into work. Have a cap on to protect my forhead. I remember having at another office they put it on in a dark room and kept me in there until they did laser . This place they put it on for an hour in a well lit room hope that it doesnt damage me? I went home at 6 30 and it was dark out. There is some light in my house through the blinds not sitting near the window. I have to stay out of sun tommorow for precaution my 2 year old son isnt going to like staying in the house all day lol
