Chloe, my sister-in-law has a similar situation going on with her jawline (as of age 45 or so). She has had fraxel, juvey and botox to the face. Part of this is a hereditary fact of life: this is what your jaw does as it ages. But I think if you consulted with a highly qualified PS, you could get some suggestions. Beware if they just chat you up on Lifestyle Lifts!

And don't fling yourself off a balcony if one recommends lower face lift and/or neck lift. To the extent that this jawline bugs you, you will explore the options and choose one you're comfortable with.

Can't say exactly if this will work for you but one of the ways to treat a sagging jaw line is to inject filler posterior to the jowl.

NOTICE:

I'm having COMPUTER PROBLEMS and can hardly get on the internet or get to my e-mail. It's taken me like 6 hours just today to try to post this message. So, no e-mails or PMs to me until I can remove this message. I have no idea what the problem is. It started with Google Chrome not loading any pages for me. TT helped to uninstall but ran out of time and it would not re-install. CAn't explain the computer problem other than to say I'ts hard for me to access the net or my site.

chloe, post a pic of the area in repose.

in the rush to obliterate every little thing, women stuff their faces and it just creates ridiculous cheeks, and mannish jawlines. If you have sagging skin when you are in repose, then a facelift is the modality... but beware of putting volume into the jawline. the lines that you have when you smile will be replaced by a big bulge of (filled) flesh... which is more unattractive.

Robin, I don't believe there is any sagging in repose. I will post a pic this weekend.

Looks pretty amazing to me! Bit hard to see in that lighting, but I can't see a thing to worry about.
