I had v beam a couple of years ago it helped with red marks from acne I also did Levulan with it which helped dry acne out. I'm p,anning on getting another one with a different dr. Who is known to give bruising . My last dr I didn't bruise and still got good results. Any one know if their are any cases of fat loss with the candela v beam.. I'm going to tell him to go very light setting.

According to my member, they used some device after putting on the chemical, Blue U or something? I dunno, just going by what she has said.

I have several members harmed by the newer Candela VBeam, the one that does not induce bruising.

I readily admit that I had V-Beam several years ago prior to knowing all of the possible bad outcomes with laser/light devices and had a good outcome from it. However, knowing what I know now I would not risk it again.

When I made the appt they said to hide out because of bad bruising which I didn't get a few years ago. Again the first time I told the doc to put it on the lowest setting. So the machine they are using I assume is the older one which is safe if it has potential to bruise ?

I'm glad to hear it worked for you how long was your recovery a d how bad did you bruise. I'm tired of getting red marks from acne that never fade. I would like to have a clear face for once and not have to wear so much make up

I believe that there are two different types of VBeam, bruising type and non-bruising. I had the non-bruising type. Someone here had the bruising type, but I don't remember who.
