Why is it when a ps or derm does a consult they always say well your pretty BUT is that to soften the blow lol. I asked dr guyuron to irip me apart I said tell me every thing I need face lifts any thing . He said well your a pretty young girl but you need a facelift, eye ptosis surgery, fat grafting nd nose job lol !

Wwll he is probably right. You probably ARE pretty ( I have not seen pics) but he feels he can make you prettier

2 ways of looking at it. 1. it's a back handed compliment like…"You look good, for your age" or "You carry your weight well " or my favorite…"I don't care what everybody else says, I think you look good"
or…..they just know calling someone pretty or young looking along with what ever procedure they're pushing works allot better. They all do it to some degree and most of us respond very well to that.
Oh yes, I also agree with Sarah:)

Just does not sound like Dr. G. :/ Not doubting you though.. did you see him in person or send pics and have a phone consult?

I'll tell you the (unflattering) truth. I have been on many facial PS consults. Have never been told I'm pretty but . . .And I am not. Have been told I have pretty breasts (on an augmentation consult), and I do! If Dr. G said you are pretty I would take it as sincere :)

Kinda' think they would lose a lot of business if they said, "You look pretty bad and are fairly unattractive, but...." The approach most PS's use, as someone stated already, seems to work as most of us fall for it and get the work done.

You mean he did NOT tell you to lose some weight and then later if the excess fat to the underchin did not go away, to consider liposuction. NOTICE: I'm having COMPUTER PROBLEMS and can hardly get on the internet or get to my e-mail. It's taken me like 6 hours just today to try to post this message. So, no e-mails or PMs to me until I can remove this message. I have no idea what the problem is. It started with Google Chrome not loading any pages for me. TT helped to uninstall but ran out of time and it would not re-install. CAn't explain the computer problem other than to say I'ts hard for me to access the net or my site.

No miss j he said he would do liposuction under the chin though and a mid face lift. I just thought the approach was funny he's saying your pretty yet I need laundry list of surgery lol ! I sent similar pics to him as I did you . Of course I would lose as much weight as possible before surgery.

Well, you know what I think: You are pretty. It's just some 'chub flub' to the neck and the part of the face I circled that is throwing you off.
NOTICE:
