I find it so remarkable that someone so passionate about fashion and image allows her skin and face to look like this. No number of Louboutins or Prada outfits will ever distract from how horrendous her skin looks.

Hope is better than fear.
Optimism is better than despair.
So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic.
And we’ll change the world"

Phenol peel would probably do the trick.

You are absolutely right. I think that's her only hope. She better douse herself with a bucket full really quick. In fact, if she won't do it on her own, we could throw one on her, the same way those animal rights people throw red paint on fur coat wearers.

Pretty bad I would imagine if we throw it on her. Seriously, though, I don't think they are as bad as we think. We discussed this very thing not too long ago. This doctor is doing only a portion of this patient's face, which I wouldn't think he would if the risk of demarcation from hyperpigmentation were significant.

If I saw that shit in the mirror, I would be RUNNING to my surgeon's office . . . oh my god. I know I should be praying every day to be more like Bug and others who tout the benefits of feeling well and living another year as opposed to being all up in my head about what my mirror has to say . . . but dah-YUM. Rachel, girl, you need to check yourself. I mean, really. All she does is talk about being a brand, the Rachel Zoe Brand, blah, blah, blah. One would think she'd want to look the best she could. Lord that's tragic.

She may not be a great beauty, but maybe she's happy dressing Brad & Angelina.

Oh my god . . . if I had to look at Brad and Angelina up and close and personal with any degree of regularity, my own neurosis would have me looking like Frederick Brandt, Madge's dermatologist. But that's me; that evidentally ain't Rachel Zoe, so good for her.

the sad fact (sad for all of us) is that not everything is fixable. skin like that is the most difficult to do anything with. a lift won't help, the wrinkling is caused by collapse of the superficial collagen. A phenol peel can soften some of the crinklyiness, and it does change the skin texture, but not entirely in a pleasing way... it's a pretty radical procedure and doesn't necessarily leave you looking youthful, just different and less wrinkly.

i knew a person that looked like that, the person was very strict with diet, had an amazing body but the face was prematurely very extremely wrinkled for the age.
