There's an injector I know who is running a special. I correct in saying that the ratio is 2.5 units Dysport to 1 unit of Botox? In other words, to achieve the same effect of 1 unit of Botox, 2.5 units of Dysport are requried? If that's so, then nine buck Boxtox is the hands down winner.

yep. i don't understand how they can be pricing it that way.

people's reactions differ, some get more results from dysport. me personally, i did it once and found for the same $ it had the same initial benefit but didn't last as long. back to botox for me.

I know my ps doesn't price his Dysport per unit like that, he has the unit differential figured into the price. That said he charges the same price for the same effect, it just takes more units for Dysport. The thing is that Dysport frequently gives a $50 rebate, but Botox does not. This is the reason I gave Dysport a try. I think the Dysport gave a smoother, more uniform, and more natural look, but was not as good at making certain areas lift (like mouth corners). They say that Dysport is better for crows feet than Botox, as it's effect is more diffused. This supports my experience with it in the glabella and mouth corners ( it was good in the glabella, not so good in the dao). Never had crows feet done, but I can see why D would be better than B for them. Also, D kicks in quicker than B, like in 1- 3 days. D has a current rebate going on for $50; treatment needs to be done before the 30th I think, and you need to send in your receipt within 30 days after treatment.
