OK, so I learned about this "injection alternative" (i.e., no Botox needed!) cream on "Dr. Oz". But having been burned on other recommendations for supplements and anti-aging stuff promoted on his show, I was just wondering if anyone out there has tried this antioxidant, skin-firming cream? Runs about $60 at Amazon.com. But the reviews up there were mixed - to say the least! I tend to give more credence to folks who say, "It's been a week, and I've seen NUTHIN'!" or "I put this on half my face for a week, and my friend can't even tell which side I've been putting it on." Yeah, I'm a jaded realist. I want to avoid Botox like the plague, and would explore a high-end topical substitute IF it works. Thoughts? Suggestions? I Bug U

I asked my very own live-in science nerd about this, and he opined that, no, it is not nearly as efficacious as Botox . . . however, he did admit that with daily use, over time the GABA would, theoretically, anyway, accumulate in the muscles and offer some, emphasis on the word "some," cessation of muscle movement.

a week isn't enough time. if it's truly affecting something neuromuscular, i'd think it would take several weeks - similar to how long latisse takes.

Don't support the psychopaths who market this product including tv doctor shills. Scrimp elsewhere and get your botox. I don't see a real reason to avoid botox or dysport unless you have a known sensitivity.
Innovadex comes up with all sorts of bizarre actives to put in skin care products and yet hardly any of them, if any, have undergone any truly rigorous double-blind testing. There's a reason for that! The emperor has no clothes.
If it isn't an rx retinoid, or a very high UVA protection sunscreen (with published UVA protection rating), or possibly an acid with pH < 3, don't waste your money. Spend as little as possible on the things that are too superficial/ineffectual to make any kind of significant change.
