Recently had my facelift and necklift and have lots of residual swelling in my cheeks and jawline. So I bought (on Amazon) a home ultrasound treatment device to try. My last PS used to give ultrasound treatments as part of aftercare. We will see if I can tell any benefit. If nothing else it is a relaxing, pleasant treatment. And the home version only cost about what a single office treatment would cost, so not out much. Anyone else tried ultrasound treatments?

I have not tried them but very curious how this home device works out for you. Keep us dated on this thread.

Loosh, I'm no doc, but I'd want to know the recommended time and wave-length of ultrasound when used to heal sub-surface trauma.

I bring that up cuz I was sent to my local physical therapy center for ultrasound treatments a few weeks after having Vaser High Def lipo on my torso. I remember that the wave-length was an issue (it had to be a certain range); and the treatments were ridiculously short: like just 5 minutes on the area.

I don't know how powerful the ultrasound device is you bought on Amazon.com, but hope that it came with literature that explains how it can be used safely and to optimum healing effectiveness. Could you ask your surgeon about the device?
