No. Stereotype of soccer mom is 'sporty' looking as in fit and kind of on 'preppy' side with classic clothes where one does not change the style of the clothes with 'age'. That and the SUV. Frosted hair is a favorite too.

I one time got a comment from someone who assumed I'd never had kids (which was true). This was a comment from a total stranger on an airplane. I somewhat agonized over it, thinking "what she's doesn't think I'm attractive enough to get married and have kids?" In retrospect she probably picked up on something else I had said....which made her assume that.

Or she thought you were too well groomed and well dressed to have a house full of kids. Or that you didn't look stressed out and tired. Or that you've got a good figure. Kids are a lot of work and can definitely take a toll on your appearance.

I think the image of the soccer mom is much more appealing than the image of the hockey mom. Soccer moms tend to be thinner, better groomed and very health conscious (for example bringing apple slices and carrot sticks for her kids to snack on), where as hockey moms are often overweight, very loud, not well groomed and feeding her kids chicken wings and slurpees after a game. This has just been my observation though, and obviously isn't always true.

Hope is better than fear.
Optimism is better than despair.
So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic.
And we’ll change the world"

Well better a soccer mom than a midget tag team wrestling mom.

Just tell them you had the same child four times. That should shut them up!

Not everyone associates a "mom" with looking haggard and old.

Where I live, the soccer mom look is blonde, highlighted hair worn in a ponytail, boot cut jeans, North Face jackets or else yoga wear....very "perky" but not surgically altered in any way. It's hard to describe. I'm sort of a dirty blonde naturally and so have to lighten my hair in some way because it's darkened to that blah color, so I color my hair instead of do the highlights because I feel it's more youthful. But I still wear North Face jackets, LOL.

The highlights I ear you thats why I went back to dark. I think when naturally dark woman highlight or blonde their hsir it's very aging. The best thing I ever did was dye my hair back to brunette when I was blonde I got non stop comments on how old and motherly I looked. I still get the comments but not as much.
