Does anyone know the best way to treat these?

Over the past four years, I've had three on my face. They're small, about the size of a whitehead. And of course, being white, a cyst looks like a whitehead, except it hangs around for a year or so.

When they finally do disappear, I don't feel it. I'll go to look for it, and I'll notice that it's gone. And I can't even tell exactly where it was.

Is it OK to pop these things with a needle? Any idea what causes it?

Do not pop anything you could get scars.

Sounds like you are dealing with a milia. Derms can get rid of them in minutes.

This. I had one once and stuck a sewing needle in it, but obviously don't recommend that lol. Best to let a doc deal with it in sterile environment.

Milia came to my mind, too! I had lots of them in the months following my MixTo facial lasering.

I was told that the best treatment is to see a derm doc and get on a facial cleansing regimen. Thing is, the skin could be tender, so you don't want to overwork it, but you need to remove the milia (or whitehead, or cyst) so it doesn't recur.
