No matter who you are, how much fame or money you have emotions are the same. It's very sad. I agree, she should leave him and start healing as soon as possible. Hopefully, she'll find the strength.

Yes being cheated on is painful. OK THEN think about being cheated on AND it being made public for everyone to see. OK THEN think about being an older woman, who from Day 1 of this relationship has had to deal with people snickering: ("cougar," "this must be a publicity stunt," "the age gap is too much," "she's having plastic surgery to keep her younger man") etc. etc. It is all so humiliating. I REALLY WISH she would dump him publicly soon, as quickly as possible....

Agreed, she looks terrible and probably feels way worse. Time to move on. This is what happens to those of us who are emotional non-eaters. :(

A very wise man told me once when I was hurting over someone, that no man is worth losing your looks over and he was right. She needs to find a mature guy and forget about him.

That seems to be 'the look'--those sinewy overworked in gym arms. I've seen that a lot at NYC social things where celebs are hanging around. I don't like that arm look myself, but can't tell you how often I see that as some kind of 'right of passage' symbol.

For women:

working out = high status

being thin = high status

But this has to be combined with artificial breasts and facial fat which is usually due to surgical transfer past a certain age.

It works better in the young. When one is old, it can make one look sinewy in the parts that don't benefit from fat transfer.

I don't doubt that one day they will be putting fat in older women's arms and necks as well as faces to help them look young. Some doctors are already doing it for hands.

Having said that, I hope she gets her appetite back. At the moment, she looks vertically stretched. The guy is not worth it. I suspect she is more upset over the publicity than the actual guy. I don't think these narcissistic Hollywood types ever have that much emotional investment in the partners but they do care about the press.

You have to admit .. she looks like a man, baby!

If you see her next to her daughter, you get almost sick. It's like Demi wants longer hair, a skinnier body, tinier skirts, more leg showing, and more youthful look than her own daughter. Kinda sick.

I don't know her from Jack Squat. But I'm guessing she's a high maintenance job.

I thought Ashton was cute at first but as he got older he's still doing that same kid act, which isn't cute now. I saw him only once on Two & 1/2 Men and was underwhelmed by him. I don't think he's a good replacement for Charlie Sheen. Yeah, she can do a lot better than him...just needs to say good riddance.
