For a minute there, I thought I was reading a cover story out of "The Weekly World" - the tale seems so outlandish.

I'm no doc, but I thought that one of the indications of mastocytosis was a very prominent skin rash of dark blotches.

If I were her, I'd start a juice-only diet to calm my body's inflammation; take antihistamines, and PRAY for a cure! She definitely looks 73 - teeth and all. I would've checked under the floorboards of this gal's granny ... to see if that's where the real 23-yr-old now resides.

Very strange.

Just wondering what could cause such extreme sagging overnight. Obviously fat loss, but when you see HIV patients for example, they usually look far more gaunt/sunken than sagging. It's like whatever has caused this affected all the muscles and connective tissues as well.

It's terrible. That sort of stuff scares me because there are times where I think I have something like that. LOL

Taking a large dose of Niacin can have that effect. My DH did once. He looked about 30 years older within minutes. His skin sagged everywhere, even his knees and elbows. He was completely freaked out but came right after a few hours.
It is entirely possible that something this woman ingested did the same thing but in her case, permanently,

Oh yes, I forgot. He went bright red as well but that was secondary to the complete drooping and wrinkling of the skin. Scary

all she needs is some queen helene shea butter.

i'm telling you this women is being overly dramatic. a lot of posters here truly have real cosmetic issues. this women is seeking attention. she's welcome to post on the skin section of the board. a little h20 and moisturizer is all this drama queen needs.
