Hadn't seen this in awhile. This scene (and the whole movie) reminds me of all the stuff I am doing trying to keep myself "together" at my age, and all the various body parts I have to cover, girdle in, prop up, in order to keep trying to look good...........

LOLOL me too, Nancy....That was a crazy movie!!! No sooner than she got her youth back she got all broken up and had to be spray painted. LOL. Meryl and Goldie would spray paint each other..so funny..but creepy too. They lived forever but what a price! Yeah PS usually has a down side in some way or another...and look how much women are willing to pay for youth. Of course there's came in a bottle, but still..same ting.

I think it's kind of like you find one thing and you "fix" it, then something else starts to fall apart....

Kind of off topic but Winona Ryder was captivating in that movie. Small part but it really showed her potential.

Dang, stache, I can almost recite that entire movie by heart . . . and I don't remember her. Macy's-Thief Wynnona Rider was in "Death Becomes Her?" Hell, you learn something new every day.

I have not seen the movie, but I'm sure Ms Streep did a bang-up job - I loved her in "Julie & Julia" among other movies.

I can also relate to the escalating effort to "keep oneself together" as we stagger, trip, fall and even crawl down that gangplank of OLD AGE.

Every few mos there is another procedure I have to do just to maintain the slipping status quo. LIfe at seven was ever so much simpler. But I am hoping that as time goes by, medical care will improve, procedures get less invasive, devices' performance better, and my ability to hang in there more tenacious!

Sorry HateMe. I tried to look it up on IMDB and I have the movie/actress mixed up with something else. I'm thinking about a French esthetician at a spa.

Used to love that movie as a kid. It was hilariously morbid!

Meryl Streep's performance was just brilliant (as per usual).

Now you've piqued my interest, stache. I feel like I can see your French esthetician in my mind . . . wonder what that was from? And, I hope by "kid" you mean teenager . . . otherwise, I don't think I like you very much. :)

I remember it was W. Ryder and she played the esthetician. Unsure of the movie but I thought it was early '90's(?).

This actress, Michelle Johnson, was in "Death Becomes Her," and resembles Winona.

I liked Isabella Rossellini who played the leader of the immortals. What was tht she kept saying when she gave them the little bottle? She is so gorgeous...in a very sensual way. Loved her mom too.
